Cecilia is a feminist artist who strives to represent the female body and spirit through her sculptures. Each piece contains elements of the female physical form, while the materials, and techniques represent contrasting elements of femininity such as strength, vulnerability, resilience and flexibility. From afar, her pieces look like rigid metallic shapes, but upon closer inspection, a softer and more dynamic side is revealed.
